This is a community site aimed at helping folks discover and express art. By using this site, you agree to practice kindness, fairness and to share positively with the community.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using ArcadeFinder, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site. These terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and contributors.

2. What ArcadeFinder is

ArcadeFinder is a community-maintained directory of arcade and pinball machines located in publicly accessible spaces — venues open to the general public without prior membership, invitation, or appointment. It is not an official commercial database and makes no guarantees about the accuracy or completeness of any listing.

Listings for private residences, private members-only clubs that have not consented to being listed, or any restricted or non-public location are not permitted and will be removed.

3. Your account

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You are responsible for all activity on your account. Keep your password secure. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Content you contribute

You may contribute game listings, venue entries, placement verifications, comments, and photos. By contributing content you confirm that:

  • The information is accurate to the best of your knowledge and is publicly available
  • You own any photos you upload, or hold a valid right to use and share them
  • Your content does not infringe any third party's copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights
  • Venue information describes a publicly accessible commercial or community space

ArcadeFinder reserves the right to edit, moderate, or remove any contributed content without notice. Text and photo submissions may be automatically screened by an AI moderation tool before they are published; content flagged as inappropriate is blocked or held for manual review.

5. Photo license grant

By uploading a photo to ArcadeFinder, you grant ArcadeFinder a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and distribute that photo in connection with the site and its community purposes. You retain ownership of your photos. This license ends if you request removal of the photo and we remove it.

Photos must depict an arcade or pinball machine in a publicly accessible space. Photos that reveal private residences, identifiable individuals without their consent, or restricted locations will be removed. Where possible we will notify you before removal.

This license does not apply to ownership-claim evidence images (see §6) — those are submitted only to verify your connection to a venue or game, are reviewed by ArcadeFinder administrators only, and are never displayed publicly or distributed.

6. Ownership claims and verification

If you operate a listed venue or created a listed game, you may apply to have that verified on your account by submitting a claim with supporting evidence (for example: a business listing screenshot, a point-of-sale dashboard, storefront signage, or a portfolio or build-log post showing your connection to it). Evidence images are private — visible only to ArcadeFinder administrators reviewing the claim, never shown on your profile or anywhere else on the site.

An approved claim grants you venue operator or creator status for that specific venue or game only. This lets you directly edit its details, hours, and photos, and — for venue operators — post events for that venue (see §7) without waiting for admin approval. This status is a permission grant, not a role or account tier, and may be revoked by ArcadeFinder at any time, including if the underlying information changes or the grant was made in error.

7. Events

Verified venue operators may post events (tournaments, meetups, and similar) for the venues they operate. Events posted by admins go live immediately; events posted by verified operators are reviewed by an admin before appearing publicly. If you don't yet have verified status and want to post an event, apply via the ownership application.

8. Venue eligibility

Only venues that are open to the general public — including bars, arcades, theaters, laundromats, restaurants, community spaces, and similar — may be listed. A venue does not need to be primarily an arcade to be listed; any business with a publicly accessible machine qualifies.

The following are not eligible and will be removed upon discovery or report:

  • Private residences or home setups not open to the public
  • Private members-only clubs that have not consented to a public listing
  • Restricted, secure, or non-public areas
  • Locations obtained by trespassing or other unauthorized access

9. Prohibited use

You may not:

  • Submit false, misleading, or fabricated venue or game information
  • Upload photos of private residences or identifiable individuals without consent
  • Post NSFW or sexually explicit material — nudity, sexual content, or explicit imagery in photos, avatars, usernames, comments, or listings, regardless of context
  • Share anyone's personal or identifying information without their consent — full names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, financial details, or any other information that could be used to locate, identify, or contact a private individual (no doxxing)
  • Post illegal content or use the site to facilitate illegal activity, including fraud, counterfeit goods, or child sexual abuse material
  • Post dangerous content — instructions or encouragement for self-harm or harm to others
  • Systematically scrape, copy, or bulk-download ArcadeFinder's community data, or re-publish it as or for a competing product
  • Use the site to harass, stalk, threaten, or harm any individual or business, or post hate speech
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Attempt to compromise site security or another user's account
  • Use automated tools to submit verifications, votes, or content

Anything that would be illegal, dangerous, or clearly harmful to post is prohibited even if not explicitly listed above. Violating content is removed on discovery or report, and responsible accounts may be suspended or terminated without notice.

ArcadeFinder is provided as-is. We make no guarantees about uptime, data accuracy, or continued availability of any feature. We may change, suspend, or discontinue the site or any part of it at any time.

15. Limitation of liability

ArcadeFinder is a community directory. All listing information is contributed by users and is not verified by us. We make no guarantees about machine availability, pricing, venue hours, or any other detail. We are not liable for any loss, inconvenience, damage, or harm arising from use of this site or reliance on its contents.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ArcadeFinder's total liability for any claim arising from use of the site is limited to zero dollars ($0). This site is a free community service.
